Public Recreation Area – Playing Field

Being a parent himself, Mario Cassar designed these playing fields to cater for the necessary safety for both children and people using this public space. He even made distinction between kids and teens, hence dedicating separate areas and facilities to avoid unnecessary hazards. He made maximum use of the site by allocating space for readers, a miniature replica of a ‘piazza’ and amenities including a café. As a person who loves the environment, he pushed the idea of making use of energy efficient measures such as solar panels and low consumption light fittings. |
