Plaza – Shopping Mall

Mario Cassar was invited to submit his proposals for the refurbishment of an existing prominent shopping mall on the island. He embarked on the idea of utilising green-oriented concepts as much as possible. Amongst which was the construction of a lightweight screening structure; apart from providing an aesthetic feature, this casts shade onto the façade, reduce heat or cooling losses therefore making the premises consume less energy. |
